one-day family-friendly Turkish festival in the heart of the capital. The

a taste of both traditional and contemporary Turkish culture.

2012 Eurovision Song Contest, headlines. The Ottoman Marching Band opens the proceedings
at noon, with multi-lingual Balkans-Klezmer band She’Koyokh and their Turkish
Kurdish lead singer Çiğdem Aslan, Turkish rockers Sudden Exit, Turkish DJs, and
folk and belly dancers among the other live acts. There’s also food, stalls and
a big raffle. Entry is free. Ends at 20.30.
